We now have PEP running at four of our manufacturing facilities in Canada and the US, all of which are utilizing PEP in varying ways depending on their processes. We currently have PEP operating on Trumpf lasers and ALLtra Plasmas. Here are some of the key benefits we realized: • Simplified the quoting process for one of our outsourcing plants; Pep allows us to upload the customer file quickly and within a few minutes assess material costs and machine runtime costs; • The simple, but sophisticated nesting capability shines with workload that involves multiple variations of parts and shapes, simply put outperforming any operator-­‐based nesting or OEM nesting software process; • Material savings and scrap reduction are all evident over our old processes; • Running and loading multiple stations is simple and productive where we need it; • Our process steps to load our plasmas has been reduced threefold, which translates quickly into improved torch-­‐on time and increased productivity; • In the front end sales and install process, we have been very satisfied that our questions and needs have been addressed and we understand the benefits – I do not feel we have ever been oversold on the software; and • Training has been effective and well supported.
